3 day courses   Friday, Saturday 08.00 – 17.00 hours, Sunday 09.00 – 15.00 hours

Additionally, students are expected to undertake study and practical work between each module. Students will keep detailed case histories of the children that they treat during the course and will be expected to treat at least two children within their own practices in parallel with the course and to write up and present their case histories as part of the course.

The weekend modules are organised in such a way as to build progressively on each other, giving opportunities for review, practice, reinforcement and cross-reference to existing materials.

Sunflower Academy Trainers

Mark graduated from Edinburgh University in 1969 and was subsequently responsible for managing the set-up of the National Centre for Alternative Technology in Wales.  After qualifying as an Osteopath in 1979, he completed his first course in Applied Kinesiology in 1984 and has continued studying with the world's most knowledgeable teachers.

He also trained in and has practised Neuro Linguistic Programming over many years and has graduated from the Robbins Research International Mastery University with skills in neuro-associative reconditioning and life management. Mark has established and is now Director of The Sunflower Trust.  He opened The Rêve Pavilion Natural Health Clinic in 1988 offering an integrated and multi-disciplined approach for the treatment of all kinds of health problems.

 Clive Lindley Jones B.Ed(Hons) D.O., D.I.B.A.K. Diploma in Transpersonal Psychotherapy, NLP Trainer and Coach, Co-Founder of The Sunflower Therapy

Clive is a registered Osteopath, a qualified teacher and holds diplomas in Psychotherapy and Neuro Linguistic Programming.  He has been teaching for over 30 years in both Europe and Japan and was for over 10 years on the faculty of the European School of Osteopathy where, amongst other things, he taught Functional Anatomy and Palpation in which he was instrumental in introducing advanced muscle testing.  He has taught both the basic 100 hour I.C.A.K. course as well as advanced course in the UK and Europe.  He is the author of a number of papers on AK and orthopaedic problems.

Richard set up the Chiropractic Health Centre firstly in Axminster, in September 1992 after graduating from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in 1991. He is registered with the General Chiropractic Council and is a member of the British Chiropractic Association (BCA)
