We have been thrilled to team up with award winning card games Sussed this year in an aim to promote the value of face-to-face conversations.
In these days of fast living and technology, it’s easy to forget how important it is to just sit, talk and listen to each other.
This game encourages players to ask each other unusual and often funny questions and predict each other’s answers. It works for all ages and for groups of between two and 10 players. Here at Sunflower, we think it is a fantastic tool for supporting wellbeing in both children and adults.
Mark Evans, managing director of Sussed games, explains: “Studies show that face-to-face conversation releases natural chemicals in the brain that can increase happiness; improve the immune system; reduce pain; lower stress; boost mental health; tackle loneliness; develop trust; build self-esteem; enhance productivity and overcome shyness.
“Having a conversation is one of the great pleasures in life.
“That’s what gave us the idea for Sussed. We want to make it easy for people to enjoy the health benefits of face-to-face conversation and getting to know each other better!”
Sunflower CEO Nichola Atkinson adds: “It’s just so crucial to make time for chatting within family life. We love the way this game brings up different topics of conversation and how it encourages the players to learn more about themselves and each other.”
